Responsibilities :
  • Prepare, rewrite and edit draft to improve readability, or supervise others who do this work.
  • Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in layout, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Allocate print space for text, photos, and illustrations.
  • Plan the contents of publications according to the publication's style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements.
  • Review and approve proofs submitted by graphic designer prior to handing in to client or publication.
  • Oversee printing production, including artwork, layout, computer typesetting, and printing, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Confer with management, translation and editorial staff members regarding overall workflow.
  • Meet with clients to discuss projects and resolve problems.
Additional Qualification/Special Requirement :
  • Applicants should be accustomed to using computer not merely as a typewriter or a tool to surf the internet, but also as a tool to make art works.
  • Good planning and management skill is a plus.
  • Love working with detailed intricate graphic and text works.
  • Good English, Japanese or Chinese skills. (at least one good foreign language skill required)
